These are some facts about the Cryosphere

The Cryosphere is the frozen water part of the Earth system. One part of the cryosphere is ice that is found in water. This includes frozen parts of the ocean, such as waters surrounding Antarctica and the Arctic. There are places on Earth that are so cold that water is frozen solid. Some places on Earth are so cold that the water is solid-ice or snow. Scientist call these frozen places of our planet the "cryosphere" comes from the greek word for cold, "kryos." The reason that water freezes to ice, is because the temperature reaches a certain degree and the water turns from a liquid to a solid.
